I think I am missing something obvious here.
From within settings for apps and such, it seems I can have notifications set to ‘secure/hidden/private’.

However, is there a way to have notifications delivered, with the content private (not displayed till I open the notification), BUT, have the senders name still show?

Sorry, I am used to the iOS way of privacy, yet still knowing who sent the message/email.

    Thanks all...

    Any ideas, from anyone?

I probably should have posted this in the 'general' section, versus specific to the S9+...
