Adding a signature to a text is a feature (or not) of the SMS app. Most SMS apps are not going to do it because SMS messages are limited to 150 bytes or so.

And because there's nothing in the SMS protocol about a signature. Each message block is limited to 140 octets (which is 160 ASCII characters or 80 Unicode characters. If the text is longer than that, it's broken into individual messages of about 153 characters each (the multipart header takes 7 bytes), or it's converted to a text file and sent MMS (there's a setting in most texting apps to break or not break a long message).

I don't know about you, but if I was in a text conversation with someone and every single message they sent had the same signature over and over, it would get pretty tedious.:-\
