Sounds not working

For some reason when I receive txts or game or email notifications the sound doesnt work but when I get phone calls the sound works. If I go to sounds they dont play back either. I tried restarting my phone and checked that all my sounds r on and they r idk y they stopped

Have you checked the volume levels? There are different controls for phone calls, media, notifications, etc.
Visit Settings -> "Sounds and vibration" -> Volume to adjust each.

Yes I have everything's set the same. What's weird is when I get a txt it vibrates and if it's a notification its silent nothing.

Also it doesnt make a sound when plugged in anymore and I cant preview sounds

Have you checked in Settings -> "Sounds and vibration" that "Notification sounds" is set to a sound?

Also have you checked Settings -> Notifications and checked that the appropriate sound is chosen for the txt application?

Out of the blue everything started working again thanks for the replies
