Trying to screen cast from my S9+ to a T95Z plus android tv box

When I was originally using a fire stick I was able to cast from my phone to the stick but I have since then upgraded to the T95Z Plus for a hard wire connection to minimize buffering and to have some additional memory and storage but since my box is on a hard line and my phone is on a wireless connection I can't seem to cast from phone to TV box, is there anyway besides going back to wireless connection on my TV box to be able to cast?

If you're sure that your TV box and your phone are connected to the same router (and not on the guest network - guest connections can't see any devices on the regular connection), yes.
