Anyone having Issues with Google Search?

So in the last week my Google search on my home screen updated to this new Dark mode? Idk what it's called and I like the aesthetics, but here is my issue. When I go search to something I get these hard to see suggestions because the letters are light grey. I have gone into settings and made the lettering more "Soild" but it does not stick.

Have you tried changing the phone theme? For instance I can't turn on Dark Mode because of my theming, I can have one or the other. Perhaps yours is a theming issue also.
