Sending individual contracts to voicemail

I have the S9+ on Verizon and I wanted to know if there is a way to send individual contracts straight to voicemail. I thought this was an option in the past, but, seems to not be there anymore.

Blocking a number should, effectively, do just that.

It would also block messaging. I just want to send an individuals calls to voicemail.

You can use a third party app such as Hiya.

So if you open your Contacts app, select a contact, and then tap the Menu button, there's no Route to Voicemail option any more?

There used to be. I don't know which update took it away, but, it's gone now. (Verizon)
