My S9 Battery was at 5% and I put it on my wireless charger for the night.
It must not have been positioned correctly and the battery went to "0" % and the phone shut off.
When I awakened, I realized what happened and I am now charging the phone with my fast charging wire. It is already up to 35%/

SO......did I hurt my battery by allowing it to go to "0" % ????

Let me know what to expect in the future.
    Thanks.

Li-ion batteries are not deep cycle batteries. Draining to zero will cause excessive wear, but so will draining to 5%. If you're doing this regularly, then I'm sure your battery has already suffered a capacity loss.

    Normally I recharge between 20 - 50%.
This is the first time I have experienced "0"% charge.
Its charged full now and seems to be OK.

I also have found out that a method to re-calibrate the S9 battery is to allow it to go to "0"% twice and restart.

I'll keep a "eye" on my battery and reply later if I see anything different in its use.
    Thanks.

So far the battery has been working as expected.
I cycle it pretty deep so I exercise the battery capacity well.
Don't see any memory effect or decrease in functionality due to the complete discharge.
Thanks for all of the input.

I wouldn't worry about it. You would have to do that alot for it to start degrading the battery. I have done that quite a bit on my S7 plus and it lasted me three years before I started having battery problems. By then I was ready to upgrade anyways since I stopped receiving the security patches.
