Created Group Chat but Numbers not names show up from contact list.

I started a group chat where everyone has everyones number in their contacts. When I create a chat group everyone can only see my name but everyone elses phone number. If someone else starts a chat group they can see everyones name. I have a Galaxy 9+ Is there a setting I need to change or what do I need to do.

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, are you saying that you can see everyone's name, but the other people only see phone numbers on their phone? That would be an issue with their phones, not yours. Make sure the phone numbers are exactly how they appear in everyone's Contacts app -- that includes the presence or absence of a country code.

We have checked and everyone has the same phone numbers. If they all talk individually their phones show each others names. This only happens when I make a group chat. If they make group chat all names appear.
