My samsung Galacy S9 recently started powering off whenever I put it in my pocket. I've run it in safe mode and even factory reset it but it still happens so I believe I've ruled out software issues. Is there a known issue in the hardware I could maybe look into for an easy fix? I was thinking it mightve been a loose battery but cant find an easy way to get to it without disassembling the entire phone. If anything I can bring it to a phone store like tmobile to get it fixed I think just be nice if someone could help me out!

I agree, it sounds like a hardware issue which is impossible to diagnose without physically testing the device so definitely worthwhile to take to a store. It sounds like the battery so should be inexpensive to fix.
