GT I9300--is the international 4.2 upgrade out yet?

I know this had been discussed before, but I couldn't come up with effective keywords for the Search function. (that is, I searched but couldn't find it.). If the upgrade is out, why doesn't it show up when I check for updates?

Sammobile has the leaked firmware but it's not an official release because Samsung will go directly to 4.3. I've been using it for the past month and in my experience it's been flawless, better than any official 4.1.2 in fact. Here's the link:

Is it necessary to flash this using Odin? I have always just copied the zip file to my SD card n flashed using cwm

If you don't have Cwm you have to flash using odin. I would always prefer odin because there is a flash counter reset.
