Music info missing

When I import music with kies the music player only gets the song name, but not the artist, etc. These are songs from itunes. How can I fix this?

There's actually an application on the market called MediaFix that addresses it. Unfortunately, there's a glitch and it's not working the way it's suppose to. If you to the developer's website he goes in depth about the problem and seems to be working hard on a solution.

That's great. Thanks much. If I use DoubleTwist and sync with my Mac using their AirSync app it brings all the playlists, artists, etc. over. However, I want to use the native music app so this will help me do it that way.

I would give Google Music Beta a shot. That's what I use, and now I actually don't store any music on my device. Frees it up for pictures, videos, and movies.
