Viewing Web Sites as a desktop instead or mobile

I just switched from the Xoom to a Tab and I noticed that there is a browser option to select Mobile vs Desktop view mode that wasn't on the Xoom (I think)

Go to the browser, Settings, Advanced... the last option is 'Select View Mode' and make sure Desktop is selected.

I no longer go to the mobile version at BankOfAmerica.com

I don't have that option in my browser settings. Is it a version thing?

Mine has it. It's the verizon version

That would explain it then. Mine was purchased from Sprint.
