pdf files

Just got a 10.1 tab and when I try to download a pdf file, the download fails because the tab is trying to open the file with Quickoffice app installed. I have installed the Adobe pdf reader, with no help.
How do I make the tab use Adobe to open pdf files?

Try going to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > QuickOffice > Clear Defaults
