One of things I will watching for in tomorrow's Amazon tablet announcement is how will this affect the app ecosystem for Android tablets in general? I've already heard rumors that they already have big magazine publishers lined up for launch time - will their content be available for non-Amazon tablets? Format-wise I have to think that the 7in form factor will play well with my Sammy Tab.
I really don't think Amazon cares what hardware their apps run on as long as they make a sale through their store. I've always thought that Amazon's entry into the tablet market was all about selling the razor for cheap and then gouge you on the razor blades. Will their use of Android 2x make a difference to how apps will operate on 3x?
