I am thankful we finally received the update to ICS (at least for WiFi versions in the US).

But according to this recent article the Tab10.1 wasn't mentioned by Samsung for a Jelly Bean update.

    Anyone heard different?

It's almost 100% not going to happen. Even Cyanogenmod isn't doing a JellyBean version any time soon for it.

Probably isn't gunna happen. At least not officially. Even though I still feel the GTab 10.1 is the best tablet Samsung has released. I also think ICS compliments it perfectly. Jelly Bean would be nice, but I think they wanna kill this TAB because it is too nice.

If we don't get JB, so be it.
My tab with ICS and Nova launcher, performs beautifully.

I concur. The stock ICS ROM is great.

I have 5 other tablets and still think the first Tab is the bestest.

Don't worry! this device has Android OS, v4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich), upgradable to v4.1.
According to experts, minimum requirement for jelly bean OS is 2 GB RAM and 10.1 has 2 GB RAM therefore no need to worry!

The tab 10.1 has 1gig of ram and Jb doesn't require 2gigs anyways. The nexus has it and it only has 1 gig
