I am a developer. I am trying to root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
I have the device in debug mode.
All of the pertinent drivers have been successfully installed. My laptop can recognize it. I can see the directories. I can see the sd card. I can manually copy files to it. If I go to the Command Prompt and type adb devices, I see it. If I open ODIN, it sees it. If I remove the device, Odin knows it is gone. But when I hold down the up volume key and the power key, get the triangle screen, where the up volume key option will just take you to a regular boot, and the down arrow key will take you to the recovery screen, and I plug the USB cable in, ODIN does not see it.
The screen that comes up has the word recovery at the top. Is this the download mode?
If I look at adb devices at the command prompt when this screen is up, I see the device with the word recovery after it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have been trying to get into download mode for two days now.
Very frustrating.
