Samsung Galaxy tab2 10.1 - screened is locked and PIN is unknown

One of my kids was playing on our tablet, when they turned on the screen lock function. We have no idea what the password could be! I have tried connecting to the PC, restarting while connected to the PC, trying to download the Screen Lock Bypass App but it states my device is incompatible. Any other suggestions?

Hello, I only have a Suggestion of calling Samsung Customer Service. I have' had to use them. The U.S. A branch has 24° 7days of customer service On tablets. here is their phone #

Thanks Veronica. I was unable to unlock the screen but they assisted in performing a factory reset. Luckily there wasn't any important data on it to be lost.
