Charge the battery out of the tablet

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 7.0 and the charging socket is damaged.
I don't want to change the socket.

Can I connect the battery cables directly to the stripped wires inside the USB cable of my charger

The USB cable has 4 cables inside, red, black green and white and the battery has 2 red, 2 black and 1 blue.
What is the connection diagram ? is it safe ?

There is circuitry inside the tab that controls charging and also communicates with the charger that it is capable of being fast charged. You would have to connect all 4 wires to get the charger to work properly. It may be unsafe to charge the battery directly unless you have a charger made for this purpose. The charging circuitry inside the tab makes sure the battery is not overcharged and does not overheat. I would not connect anything directly to the battery!
