Distorted Audio After ROOT and installed Cyanogenmod 11

My Tab 3 8" crashed and I tried several things but ended up rooting and installed cyanogenmod 11, Android 4.44. It works beautifully and seems faster, but it works flawlessly! The only problem I have had is the Audio is terrible! It goes from a scratchy distorted sound to a sound like a distorted fast forward mode! A search with Google turns up a bunch of complaints about this problem and no fixes that I could find!

Anyone have a fix for this?

Evidently the developers are no longer interested in working on 11 (13 is the current version), so I suggest that you reflash the stock factory ROM.

I have no audio problem with movies or youtube videos. I looked around and found an app named PLAYERPRO! There is no distortion with this player. I downloaded the trial version and it worked so well I got the PRO version! Problem solved.

I had tried APOLLO and POWERAMP with no luck!
