Why can't I get my wifi to connect?

wifi cant connect

I have Asus RT-N10LX wifi router and Samsung Galaxy TAB 3 Lite

my tablet can connect to everything,everything can connect to my router,but togerther they never connect

it says "getting IP andress" forever

I saw on internet some fix when its changed to static IP but when I set it to static the confirm button stays gray,preventing me from activating it so I am forced to go back to DHCP.

The problem with the settings of the router. Check restrictions on it, try to reset to factory settings.

I am not restricted,reset didnt help

Reboot the router
