My tablet was running slowly so I tried to re-start it. It keeps flashing the Samsung Tab 3 logo. How can I fix this?

my tablet was running slowly so I tried to re-start it. It keeps flashing the samsung tab 3 logo.

I cannot turn it off at all, battery finally died so I plugged it in,shows dead battery and then it starts flashing again with the logo! Cannot turn it on or off.

Try holding down power button and volume up. You need to get into recovery mode and wipe cache partition.

How to enter Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 recovery mode

Power off your device.
Boot in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up, Power Button and Home Button at the same time.
Release all buttons when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.

Use volume keys to select action and power button for enter.
