When I try to save data to my SD Card on my Samsung Tab 3 it says

I installed an SD Card into my Samsung Tab 3 and I mounted it. I then try to copy files to the SD Card. But I keep getting a message saying that "No SD Card found for my Phone. Why is it referring to a Phone instead of Tablet?

Probably just a generic message. The issue with the device not recognizing SD card, may be solved by a reboot, and or wiping the cache partition in recovery.
