I'd like to hardwire the galaxy-tab SM-T217SZ to a USB for battery charging.

The 11 pin usb port is destroyed by my 7 year old. The 11 pin connector looks like a beast to resolder!
Can I come in with the 4 wires of a standard usb wire and hardwire to charge the battery?
I could prob solder onto the appropriate pins on the inside of the port that is soldered to the logic board.
Any pointers appreciated.

I would HIGHLY advise against this, BUT have you checked YouTube? There a tutorial for just about everything there! lol
