Why can't I get my Galaxy Tab A to remove an unknown URL?

i cannot get my galaxy tab A to remove an unknown URL

I have a Samsung galaxy tab A and it keeps going back to an unknown URL instead of the home page or default home page, asking for 100$ etc ...I have run a malware scan and its saying no malware found, please help...

Have you made sure to check that your default Web page is still set to what you want it as?

Did this happen soon after installing a recent app? Maybe try clearing system cache via recovery.

Comb your apps in the "ALL" tab within App Manager to see if there is any unwanted fishing looking apps.

All else fails, a reset will set things straight. Just make sure restoring all apps via Google backup might result in the same problem if it was caused by a Rogue app trying to install adware.
