New galaxy tab A 7.0, no marshmallow?

Hey guys, just scored a pretty good deal on a new galaxy tab a 7.0 2016 model. Love it so far, just wanted a cheap tablet to bring to work for browsing and shows

I am curious though, why is there still no marshmallow update out for this tablet? It's internal specs are nearly identical to the 8.0 and 9.7

Try using Smart Switch to see if there is an available firmware you can install.

What's the exact model number, in Settings>About Tablet​?

I would keep checking for updates, Mine is on 6.0.1

Yeah I have 6.0.1

Min (purchased 7/2016) is still on 5.1.1, with no joy in sight. If it is still stuck there when the warranty runs out, I'm goin' in....
