I recently bought a Galaxy Tab A, 8". It read the SD card ok initially. I moved some apps to the SD card later. When I turned off the Tab A and turned it back on, I noticed that the apps on the SD card were greyed out. I could still read the SDCard though through file manager. I unmounted and mounted the SDcard. The apps, later, came back by themselves although I don't understand how that happended. Not sure if I should return the Tab A or not.....anyone have any ideas.

I have some apps on SD card you have to make sure the app has permission to view SD card ....if not when you reboot the apps will not show up ...I'm on tablet A9.7 marshmallow 6.0.1

This is a major issues with placing apps on an SD card. There is a load frame between when you turn your tablet on and when the app will become available.
