    Galaxy tab A SM-P355 I can only Copy or Move files. This is new device. On the same model old device I could do anything with files appearing in search results. Please help.

    That depends on the file manager you're using. Usually it's a 3-button menu that has Rename as one of the choices (once you've selected a file). If the file manager you're using doesn't have that, both Cx File Explorer and ES File Explorer, among others, do. (Aside from storage space, there's no reason you can't have 4 or 5 file managers installed. I have those two, Total Commander and Root Browser all installed - for different purposes.)
