This seems to be really easy.... they are both identical in build quality. The 10.1 is very light almost as light as the 8.4 and feels great to hold, from the speakers you get the same sound but on the 10.1 i think the position of the speakers is much better as they are on the top of the tablet, i find that with the 8.4 i rest it against my chest/stomach and it muffles the sound as the speakers are on the bottom.

Performance wise the Exynos is every bit as good as the Snapdragon, it zips around effortlessly, unlike the note 10.1 2014 that has a lot of stutter, this could be down to 4.4

for me i think it comes down to how you use the tablet, i love the form factor of the 8.4 and its easy to carry around but i do love the 10.1 and the larger screen, i have a feeling the 8.4 will be my portable tablet ( work and other places) and my 10.1 will be my bedroom tablet.

i will do a side by side video maybe tonight but more likely tomorrow

Do you own the Note 10.1 2014 as well as the tap pro 8.4?

I have a Note 10.1 2014 32 GB p-601 and a Note 3 and I'm deciding whether or not to blow some money on the tap pro 8.4.

The note 10.1 2014 is not very portable for me so I'm thinking about having the 10.1 2014 as a home tablet and the 8.4 as a portable tablet and for games since my girl sometimes likes to game on my 10.1 2014.

Not even really sure I need a 2nd tablet but I'm looking in to it.

If you already have a note 3 then i would say no, its just to close for me, i now have a note 3 and the tab pro 10.1, if you have a note 2014 i would recommend staying with that, as its not worth changing from that to the tab pro series

I spent a loooong time at the store playing around with both in hand, the 8.4 just seems more special when holding it. Impressed that the 10.1 feels as light as the 8.4 and having the bigger screen seems ideal, but for some reason i get more of a tingly feeling when using the 8.4.

Hows the everyday battery life compared with the two? Hard to tell when i was playing around with them.

The 10.1 has much better battery life, the standby time on the 10.1 is crazy good

I love my tab pro 8.4, I'm using it a lot all day and when I turn it off to charge for the night there's still 70% to 80% still left most times.

I just hate that it doesn't come with s-pen
