Downloading apps

Unable to download apps from Play store. Message comes up 'Error retrieving info from server'

Welcome to Android Central! Are you connected via wi-fi? If this is the LTE version, can you connect via mobile data? Does the same thing happen either way?

Do all of your other Google services work, like Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.? Can you access the web using the browser? If the answer is no for #1 and yes for #2, then there might be a temporary problem with the Google servers.
