Can I get some help with a Skype connect problem?

Skype connect problems

I was using Skype with no issue, I didn't log out. Something happened and I got logged out and when I try to log on now with my Microsoft account it keeps telling me that " unable to connect, check network settings". I am using a wireless network to try and connect, but all other applications I try seem to run fine. Anyone with the same problem and if so what were the solutions.

It's a Microsoft problem. When I logged into outlook this morning on my desktop, there was an alert about Skype problems.
