I posted a few weeks ago about "graffiti" being shown on my wife's Tab S10.5 (Internet Watch Possible Malware?). Only response was to see if it happened again. Tonight, it did.

The message was different this time, instead of "Internet Watch", tonight it displayed P4070033. Picture is attached, taken from another device so as not to disturb whatever was happening. Immediately after taking the picture, I ran an Avast virus scan, but it showed clean. Going back to the home screen afterwards, the graffiti had disappeared, like the last time.

As you can see, the text was upside-down and backwards. The number means nothing to us, and a google search does not turn up anything meaningful.

Any ideas? Is there another forum that might be more appropriate, CERT or something?

Thanks
JimR

Try to find out which app might be causing this. When you suspect you have found the culprit, close all other apps. Then see if it will repeat itself.
