Only show my calendar events, not ones shared to me

Someone else has shared their calendar with me, and every time they have an event, I see it on my home screen. Is there a way to make only my events show, and no one else's?

Are you using the stock Samsung calendar app (probably S Planner), or Google Calendar, or something else? Go to the calendar app's settings and look for a notifications option for that shared calendar. Or you could also toggle whether to display those events in your calendar app. If you toggle it off, the events shouldn't show up in notifications or on a widget.
