hi, tried searching up forums about rooting the 'new' Galaxy Tab S range (in specific 8.4) but didnt find much about it. Was wondering if you could even root the device at this point or will it even be available anytime in the future??

Sorry, I'm new to android and i am not 100% sure about everything as of yet.

Also second question, is there a way to make the S pen (note tablet or other) compatible with the tab S???

    Thanks in advanced

Not very root-savvy but I do believe these tablets have been rooted. XDA might be more helpful (albeit a bit confusing, at times) about rooting.

But as for the S-Pen, you can't make it compatible with the Tab S. The S-Pen uses a different technology for that (Wacom technology) and the Tab S just doesn't have the circuitry or tech to 'sense' the S-Pen. I wish there was a finer stylus we could use with the Tab S, though... those thick-point ones are OK but nowhere near the S-Pen.
