Why won't my Samaung Galaxt Tab S connect to wifi

In settings it states wifi is safe and secure. xfinity is saved but can't connect to it.
Unable to go on-line

My first thought is are you using a secured wi fi signal. Most private wi fi systems use a user determined password.

I would go to a local Starbucks or McDonalds that offers free wi fi and see if you can get connected there. If you can, I would think you need to enter a password for your home unit. Hope this helps.
