On my other tablet, a Tab 4, I've always had the power saving enabled and my streaming music apps have always worked. I got a Tab S2, and like the Tab 4, I turned on power saving. I left it on until the Marshmallow update that added the grey bar on top. In order to make the bar go away, I had to turn off power saving. Lo and behold my music apps work. I thought it was just a fluke but for the last 2 days I been using them without a problem, where before they would only work for 5-10 minutes and then just stop. I don't know why they work with power saving on with one tablet and not the other, but at least now I can use them. I'll be pretty disappointed if they stop working again for some reason.
