in short after trying to use a power bank .. or draining it to 0% .. it just keeps showing
    >"slow charger connected"

    what can we do?

this is such unfortunate ongoing issue for MANY ..

there is a reason for it ... its Samsung making a short term stride to increase profits by 5% .. wanting to service the device and sell components / battery! primary reason why they do not make them with removable batteries anymore!

in short I will not buy Samsung products any more .. from my experience they are just as prone to failure .. but cost more .. warranty is limited only to the country of purchase ..

i got my Tab S2 - SM-T715Y in Thailand 2 months ago as i am backpacking Asia ..
I know the warranty is per country .. so I can not use it where I am now - in Vietnam .. or back home in USA

in the future I will buy Lenovo or Acer or Asus or alike that have international warranty .. and want to stand behind their product

yesterday I was on a road trip with my Tab S2

and I was using my 12V car charger and then a battery bank .. and I think it triggered this problem or fact that I drained my S2 to 0% (very bad for LiOn)

fact is that now it is showing "slow charger connected" .. I am using the original charger and original cable .. and I have 2 more original 2A chargers from Note 3 .. tried all with outlets ..
went to 3 stores tried all the chargers & cables ..

now it is slowly *discharging* when connected to AC!!

again this is so terrible - again I am losing faith in Samsung :/ (had charging issues with my Note 3 .. 8 months in .. motherboard issue)

I can not find a solution to this problem..

will try to wipe the cache.. but it is not a hardware issue .. as it fails to charge properly when turned on or off ..

I took it to official Samsung service center here .. manager spoke limited English .. he said they see this often .. they must take it apart and see what they will need to replace ..

I read that this is a built in precaution to prevent a battery fire
    > If the battery has gone bad then the device will exhibit symptoms like you've described. It does this to prevent battery bulging and fires. The only solution is to replace the battery;
The battery has a built-in protection circuit which permanently cuts off charging if a problem is detected. There is no warning. The charging circuit can also go bad but my guess is the battery.

any advice? please email me at (email address removed by Moderator)

    thank you ..

I have used 2 power banks and a really low quality car charger on my S6 and never had this issue.
Not sure what could cause it other than hardware

That would be a nw discovery in electronics.

or fact that I drained my S2 to 0% (very bad for LiOn)
And enough to kill the battery.

fact is that now it is showing "slow charger connected" .. I am using the original charger and original cable .. and I have 2 more original 2A chargers from Note 3 .. tried all with outlets ..
went to 3 stores tried all the chargers & cables ..
If the internal charging circuitry is damaged (due to a complete discharge), that wouldn't be surprising, it would be consistent.

now it is slowly *discharging* when connected to AC!!
The amount of current the tab can draw is less than the amount it's using, so the net effect is a discharge.

I can not find a solution to this problem..
    A new battery.

He speaks very little sense too. The battery might cost you US$40, but the labor is minimal.

My guess is that the Jell-O spoiled. Or the Leprechaun lost his pot of gold.

Or the battery went. (You should NEVER drop a lithium battery below 40%.)
