    Mine came with Marshmallow, but I got upgraded a year or so ago to Nougat. Since I got my "one upgrade", I guess that I should be happy.

    Well, then I guess you got your "one update" too. In all likelihood, your Tab S2 would work even better with Nougat than it does with Marshmallow. Too bad Samsung maintains its "one update" policy, even where hardware age and/or configuration is not an issue.

    Mine is the Nook version. Barnes and Noble has to approve the update.

    Mine is also the first generation Tab S2. Samsung did a refresh on it about a year or so after its original release.
