    I have two Tab S5E, both bought at the same time. One has updated to 10 UI2.5. The other is still on 9 UI1.1. When i do a manual update it reports that it is up to date. It is still on June 2019 security patch.

    Are they both wifi tabs with the same model number?

    If one is an LTE version it would need to be updated from the carrier it's intended for.

    After a long session with the Samsung Canada support team, they were unable to update the tablet and told me to wait for the update to come out for my particular tablet. They are talking about Android 11 for the S5E and i am still sitting on Android 9.

    That's frustrating. I assume you already tried updating using Smart Switch, right?

    Is the one that's not updating an LTE-compatible tablet? If so, that would mean it's directly from a carrier, and typically carrier-specific devices need to be on that carrier's network to get the official system updates.

    No not an LTE compatible. I bought two at the same time from Costco. One is up to date and the other is still on 9. I checked to make sure that Smart Switch was up to date and it is. It says that my tablet is up to date although it is so far behind. I have chatted with Support several times and as previously reported they did try to help and then reverted to the company line to wait another week for the up date to come out. This all started several months previous. Tablet works fine other then being out of date and security patch is June 2019.

    How long ago did you get them? Even though you're presumably past the 90 day return window, they might make an exception if you demonstrate to them the problem.

    Also, did you try contacting Costco Concierge Services? https://www.costco.com/concierge.html

    Your right, it is over a year now since my purchase and l know that Costco has a pretty generous return policy but in all honesty it isn't their problem and since the tablet works well, regardless of being out dated, l think l'm just going to live with it until l it's time for a replacement and then l will decide which way l am going to go. Thanks for your insight but l guess l will let this thread die.

    OK, no problem -- although I still think Costco might help you. The fact that two identical devices from them are behaving differently would suggest to me that there is a problem with either the hardware or firmware on one of them.
