Hi,

why am I seeing only up to maximum 4 notification icons left and right in the notification bar.
The last icon is followed by a . (dot).
I recognize this behaviour from my phone which has a notch.
But my S5e doesn't.

Go into Settings - > Notifications - > Status bar and select "All notifications."

The status bar can give only a few notification then you'll need the pull down notification panel to see the rest that's why it has a dot after that one it can't display more what it has already up there.
Yes it can. I have the Tab S5e and I can display more than three notifications. I just posted how to do it.

Hi, this does the trick, thanks.
I cannot remember ever having changed this setting before, so now I wonder whether a max of 3 is default or not.
To be honest cannot imagine why this setting is offered.
It's not on my Moto G7+.

Hmmm... Good question. I don't remember changing mine, it was set to show all notifications on the bar. I also turned on battery percentage too.
