Originally priced at $729, the Christmas special was $100 off, making the tablet $629 at most major retailers[/B] like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc.

However, Amazon has gone further to reduce price to $599 for both the 'Cloud Blue and Rose Blush' colors. Oddly, the 'Mountain Grey' is not offered at the $599 price - its stuck at the regular discount of $629. Hopeful we will see the Mountain Grey colors also drop to $599.

Anyone know when? I would much prefer Mountain Grey, perhaps some store would price match even though its not to exact same color. ......Everything is 100% identical.

Best price so far (although it's only for the 128 version) is at TMobile for the LTE version, where it's 50% off. 'Downside' is you have to activate a DIGITS line (20 bucks a month, unlimited).

Yeah I thought about Tmobile. I'm on Verizon and wish they had similar deal, but they only offer $100 off. I think you can just do a $15/month 1gb line with Vrz, but that's still $15x24 months. So an extra $360 added to cost after saving only $100.

But you're getting the mobile data instead of having to rely on WiFi. It's not for everyone (I didn't go that route either), but it's also not terrible if you do prefer to have data everywhere (15 bucks for just 1 Gigabyte sounds steep, though). Also, if you do wanna go the TMo route, you don't need a line with them from what they told me, it should allow them to just activate the DIGITS line for unlimited data and done (it is unlimited data and you get the same traveling features as regular lines, so full-speed data in North America and 3G/2G abroad, but it's 5 bucks more than Verizon's)

Update, the price on Amazon is back to the normal sale price with $100 off, which is $629 for each color of the 256gb models. I notice on Samsungs USA page the $100 off sale for all models is through 12/31, so it will be around for a while longer.

Today Best Buy just increased the gift card from $50 to now $100. For both 128 and 256gb models.
So both now $100 off instantly, and both get additional $100 e-gift card. This is listed under the Best Buy "daily deals", so it might be just for today 12/20/19 for that gift card increase.

I picked the 256gb up right before store closing, and I've already got the $100 e-gift card in my email.

BestBuy gift dpcard dpback down to $50 again.
Of course the tablet price is standard and you'd probably use the gift card for a concert and screensaver which you can get elsewhere for a fraction of the BestBuy prices but still it's something.
I'll probably wait till after Christmas to see if there's any price dip.

Concert threw me off, but then screensaver sealed the deal: Autocorrect? haha I assume you meant case and screen protector? I'd use the card for the keyboard case (which not at the initial 50% off and still expensive AF, it is a bit discounted for the holidays).
