I get the same exact message with the ionic designs T230_KBBT bluetooth keyboard/case. I even tried to pair it to my iPhone and same message appears.
Is it defective? I think Ionic is a piece of SH!T company anyway. No contact info at all in their instructions, website is a joke too. I think I'll take it back unless anyone has any info on this. I have updated the Tab4 to the newest firmware just FYI. Thanks to anyone that can reply. The fact it won't pair with my iPhone or any iOS device (when the instructions support iOS and Android and Windows OS's) is a problem. It must be defective.
