Casing doesn't fit

As you can see in the photo, there are sizable gaps between my tab and the sides of the case I got for it off eBay. The case was rated for this model tab. Am I supposed to fold it in somehow, push it against the sides of the tab, or should it fit out of the box?

Wow, that's bad! I mean, TPU cases are usually malleable but that's definitely just not the right size. I'd return it if you can or ask for an exchange.

I would say that case is either defective or not for the tab 4. returning it seems to be a good option

Turns out it was for the Galaxy Note. :-(
