Has anybody try using an 256gb sd card with a Samsung tab 4 tablet?

I wanted to expand my galaxy tab 4 tablet, with more memory, I know that you can go as high as 64gb sd card, but what about 256gb, I just order the 256gb the other day I hope I didn't waste my money, then again I will always have a spare if I need one.

If it can handle SDXC (which it has to if it handles 64GB) it can handle all the way to 2TB. Once we get past that (and we're not that far away now, there are 512GB cards), they'll have to come out with SDUC phones (that can handle up to 128TB). The standard was already announced in June 2018.
