Rash from glass back.

My wife recently got a galaxy watch active. She has developed a rash under the sensors/glass back. She doesn't wear it too tight, or to sleep but still has a red rash underneath. She used to wear a standard watch before the active and no rash. I've been wearing my galaxy watch for 2 years now and never had this problem.
She cleaned it with alcohol, switched wrists and sure enough, there was a rash starting after one day. She isn't known to be allergic to any other materials.

Does anyone have any solution to this? Or even know why? It's a glass back isn't it? Never heard of glass causing a rash. I was thinking a screen protector from a smaller watch that will cover that portion if we can find one.

Thanks.

the watch is no different than any other jewelry. some people are allergic to the materials in them. not much you can do about that. if you do an online search, you will find it is a common problem. I get the itches from my watch in hot environments.
