My galaxy watch will discover other networks but won't discover my wifi network or my phone's hotspot. So wifi detection is working but just won't find mine

    Hi, welcome!
Have you tried rebooting your home wifi router?

Yeah sorry I should have mentioned all that. I have reboot the router, restarted the watch and done a factory reset on the watch. Still the same. Will show certain WiFi networks but not mine. I have even tried to manually add my network through the add network. Still says can't find my network. Very weird when all other device in my home connect without a problem

I just went through every menu and submenu on the watch. In the about phone under the wifi it read wifi Mac address. Don't know if that has anything to do with anything

Another thought - do you have SSID enabled on your router? And do you have 2.4GHz enabled?
    01-16-2020 05:12 PM
  21. MosusOz's Avatar
I have 2.4GHz enabled. Not sure about SSID. I am away from home for a few days so I can't check. But the watch will not find my android hotspot either. Would it have SSID enabled? I am not quite sure what that actually is
