The signs are already there that this flip is a flop. It's a ganttic failure considering Samsung thought it can sale 6 million foldable phones
People don't buy phones like movies though. Not everyone has $900 (or even $200 for a down payment) laying around to buy a phone in it's first week of release. Most phones don't hit their stride until 3-6 months after release. Even this year's iPhone won't make a dent until February or March 2022.
I do think Samsung has an uphill battle against Apple and Google this year, even though there is alot of interest in the Flip 3 (at least on line).
But yeah, 2 weeks just isn't enough time to write off sales of a brand new device. And actually if you went by early pre orders, both foldables are strong sales hits. Right now pre orders, sales estimates and reviews are all we have to go on.
