missing pixels

Hi there,

Suddenly I have some missing pixels on my screen. Wondering if anyone has ever tried the app Dead Pixels Test and Fix ??? Do you recommend it or not? Any better suggestions other than to send the phone in for a fix? I don't have a spare phone anymore, sent them all in as trades to get my Flip.

FYI the missing pixels in case it matters are *not* in the fold of the screen, they are below it by about a half inch.

Yep an app is most likely not going to be able to fix a hardware issue :-\

Yeah, but as you know, sometimes a stuck pixel can get jostled free by the rapidly changing displays these apps run. In my case it did not work. Sold the Tab to my ex

Thank you. It did sound weird that an app could "jostle" something loose. I guess I have to live with it, heh?

Some of those apps are free so it can't hurt to try.
