Thanks for the article. Seems like the price of $295 is the same price as the original GG when it was first launched. Aside from the mediocre SVoice, it was fantastic, hopefully it would improve on the G2. April 11th can't come soon enough. The only thing Moto 360 seems better than G2 is its Google Now feature; the round design is just ok, for me.

Well I've gotta say the Moto 360 has really got my attention now. I'm going to wait on that one this summer before deciding on what to get. That moto design is incredible....now to see if the software and battery life live up to the design.

So the Gear 2 will be $297, and the Gear fit $197, huge fail. I for one will wait for the Moto 360 and watch Samsung muck another smartwatch up.

I too gonna wait for the Moto 360..........while wearing the next best thing the Gear 2!!

I like options so I'll have both probably even though Google/Motorola haven't said a date for the 360.

I have been looking for more information on the Moto 360. Does anyone know if you can receive and make phone calls via its speaker? I know you can use Google Now but how about making and receiving calls?

This is my plan as well. For the next several months I'll use the Gear 2; once the Moto 360 comes out I'll make a decision on that and either sell the G2 to subsidize the 360 (if it seems truly more compelling at that point) or keep the G2 because it's meeting my needs.

Either way is a win for me.
