When using the Running Mode under exercise, the heart rate sensor seems to work OK when walking, but once running it goes to 195bpm for long periods or all of the run period. I know its only an indicative sensor, but experience tells me that at my age and current fitness level for the run speed I'm doing my heart rate would be in the 130s bpm, based on my Garmin Forerunner and Heart Rate Chest strap. I'm 56 so there is no way I am hitting 195 bpm, in fact 170 bpm is a solid push these days. Then when I stop running and go back to walking at the end of my run the heart rate starts working properly again. What is going on when running? Why doesn't it work properly? Should the watch be looser or tighter or what?
