    Hi folks,

Just picked up a Gear S after trading in my moto 360, im still playing around with settings etc but my initial problem is the watch face. Ive got my watch set to 'always on' it displays a basic black screen with white clock but when I touch it or move it, it changes to a different watch face that I chose from the selection, any ideas why?

    Thanks

That's the way it works. Samsung's watch faces all have an abbreviated display that uses less energy when always on is active. The first three style watch faces have the most elaborate always on displays that look closest to the original.

Thanks, that's fine if that's how its supposed to be. Glad I'm not doing anything wrong.

Ive only had it a few days but really love it. Coming from a moto 360 its obviously much bigger but feels like I've got proper control over everything, rather than constantly going through notifications. The software seems a huge improvement.

Its a great watch indeed. Tizen has a good deal of logical control and widgets. The only downside I see now (have the watch for 4 months) is that many companies that make Android apps, that we've come to know and love, do not make apps or controls for the watch. For me this is particularly Spotify and Pandora. I had a Pebble prior and loved being able to control Pandora stations (volume, pausing, etc) on my car stereo or home stereo from my pebble...
